Strengths in Motion™ is an experiential training program, game, and toolkit designed to help individuals, teams, and communities activate both character strengths and physical strengths.
Participants learn how to embody strengths such as courage, kindness, curiosity, gratitude, hope, zest, love, perseverance, and leadership — while also building awareness of balance, flexibility, coordination, vitality, and social connection.
Most strengths-based programs invite people to name their strengths.

Why Dr. Elaine O’Brien
Movement scientist. Positive psychology scholar-practitioner. Creator of Strengths in Motion™.
Dr. Elaine O’Brien is an author, speaker, and educator. With a PhD in Kinesiology and a Master of Applied Positive Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania, Elaine brings decades of experience in movement, fitness, flourishing, play, aging well, and embodied wellbeing.
Her work integrates science, joy, human connection, and practical activation — helping people not only understand wellbeing, but practice it together.
